Sundays

What are you doing this Sunday afternoon? I’m enjoying the anticipation I always feel when I know big snow is on the way, while simultaneously feeling worried about anyone who might not have a place to shelter.

I’m also trying to ride the wave of slightly-better-than-normal news we’ve had over the past week; new administration, the slow-but-steady rollout of the vaccine, the fourth season of ‘Call My Agent’ finally debuting on Netflix. Can it last?

Here are some of the places I’ve been on the internet this week. Where have you been?

Two British women chefs each awarded 3 Michelin stars (The Guardian)

Yay! Michaela Goade and Carole Lindstrom won the Caldecott for ‘We Are Water Protectors” (Canvas)

Everything about this Paris wedding sounds fancy/cozy (The New York Times)

The heartbreaking struggles of immigrant teens (ProPublica)

Do you want to be a citizen archivist? (also: who knew?) (National Archives)

I made this pudding and it’s delicious (Cooking.nytimes)

Finally, something for my fellow mayonnaise lovers by an artist I love (Etsy)
